— How did you find working with Rapid-IS?
Working with Rapid IS has been very easy. They are very responsive, keen always to work collaboratively and listen to ideas. Things are generally turned around very speedily.

— How easy was it to learn how to use Rapid?
If you mean to use a Rapid developed backend instance as an end user, the experience is very good. Very easy to learn how to use, and generally intuitive so no need for long training sessions.
From a designer perspective — Cheree has done some work in this area and advises it is very easy to amend form content. Having worked with developers in Camden who are using the design tool, they have again been quick to implement basic through to complex changes in a short timescale which would indicate it must be fairly straightforward to use.

— How quickly did Rapid and Rapid-IS meet objectives?
Very quickly. Our objectives often changed at short notice and/or were not always clear. In both cases, the company and the product were totally adaptable and flexible, enabling fluid working often on the fly to meet demands.

— Would you use Rapid again? If so, would you recommend it to others?
Absolutely. And Absolutely.

— How would you rate the capabilities of Rapid?
Very good. Where it doesn’t yet have the capability eg. Email notifications — the company Rapid are always keen to work on improving the functionality of the offering.

— Did Rapid provide an easy to use platform for development?
We used Rapid as a company for development of front end for housing allocations but see answer above re our internal developer is quick to utilise the product to meet service deliverables.

— In the end, did Rapid and Rapid-IS meet your expectations?
Yes, very well.

We have used Rapid for a few years here at Camden Repairs. The product has been a great way for us to work with our IT colleagues to flexibly change our IT system to meet our ever changing service needs as our service grows and improves. Rapid has been a fantastic way to engage the frontline teams to design a system themselves that suits their requirements and fits the needs of our service and customers. The training time has been minimal as Rapid is so simple and easy to use. Being so easy to use, Rapid has enabled us the opportunity to engage the less IT savvy within our teams and support them in taking ownership of Rapid as our lead IT system and the data that it holds for us, in turn this has helped our service learn and improve as well as supporting on-going IT training and development for our teams. Rapid has been a fantastic way for us to bring together lots of information held across different systems and have this in one single easily accessible place. Rapid has also been central to helping us work consistently across teams and contracts by allowing us to manage access and information for different teams in the same place. Rapid is a constantly changing and improving product, and gives our teams confidence to do a good job great, we love it!
